I had the honor of attending Rich Johnson’s induction into the Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame ceremony. As someone who recently interviewed Rich for our podcast, it was special to see him receive this well-deserved recognition at Ohio State’s Fawcett Center.
Rich’s story – from Air Force accountant to building ViaQuest into the largest veteran-owned healthcare company in central Ohio – is truly inspiring. But what strikes me most is his continued commitment to hiring and supporting fellow veterans.
I got to chat with Rich after the ceremony and snap a photo together. His gratitude for the recognition and for my attendance was clear, but so was his humility. That’s just who Rich is – always focused on serving others rather than seeking the spotlight.
